Case: Norske Soedra cell Tofte Norge...Here the task was to renovate as well as increase the capacity on a line with a total of 3 concrete filters, the job was projected to run over 3 years, one filter per year.

The renovation was to take place during the 14-day summer stop of the plant. During this period we were to dismantle the old internal equipment and mount a total of approximately165 tons of new. The task was solved by building 3 pieces of mounting frames on the ground, and in a pre-mounting period of 8 weeks we mounted the completed sections in the frames. During the stop of the plant the task was to cut the roof off the old filter, empty and elevate the filter house, mount smoke distributor screens, as well as to mount the 3 sections, each of which weighed 45 tons. |
